OFFER -- guest room in Berkeley
Hi Contacters,
I have a spare room available for one guest from July 1 through July 7 in my home in West Berkeley. This is a separate bedroom with queen-sized bed, bedding, and some closet space, with shared bath and kitchen.
I am a 44 year old man, sharing the property with another man of the same age who stays in a detached unit. The main house, where you would be staying, is a sunny, airy dojo-like bungalow with wood floors, a deck and backyard. Hundreds of books to read and a peaceful quality. No internet or other media (but WiFi cafe & library nearby). There are no animals, tobacco, or perfumes in the house, nor any objection to these things in small doses. Access is by stairs only.
I can't offer a bike or other vehicle, but on foot, it's
--- 25 minutes to either WCCIF or downtown Berkeley
--- 15 minutes to BART (Ashby)
--- 5 minutes to AC bus lines 49, 12, 88.
You are very welcome here while in Berkeley. Phone contact is best at 510-649-0804. Email is carnahan02@yahoo.com
