Advanced 2-Day Workshop: Presence and Performance, July 10-11, 2010 10am-1:30pm at CounterPULSE, SF

How can Contact Improvisation be used in performance? Contact Improvisation teaches us how to be present and make choices in the moment. What happens to our dance when we invite witnesses to view it? In this two part class we will practice using the tools of CI in the situation of being seen. Attendance to both sessions is not required. There will be a site-specific performance opportunity for participants after Sunday's session.

The Site Specific Performance (a culmination of the July 10-11 Presence and Performance Advanced CI Workshop) will start at 3pm at the start of the tree-lined path facing San Francisco City Hall, at the intersection of Fulton and Larkin Streets behind the City Library, and end at 3:30pm.
