CIRF 1-year Teachers' Advisory Group (TAG) Membership
$50
Available only to teachers who have already have passed the CIRF application process, have completed a paid CIRF Teaching position in the past five years.
The TAG makes ongoing recommendations for programming and teaching-quality via in-person and online forums.
As a pay benefit for 2010, TAG Dues are waived for those teaching at CIRF 2010 events.
Annually on September 1st, Non-teaching TAG members' will be notified that dues not current after October 1st annually will result in their CIRF online access being suspended until dues are paid.
Non-teaching TAG members' dues not current after May 15 are required to pay public rates for entry to WCCIF/WeCITE.
TAG Membership includes:
- 1-year access to CIRF online database & dialogue Forums
- entry to WCCIF, WeCITE and WrapUp for no additional fee (a $650 value)
- $20 off annual New Year's Intensives (NYI)

New or out-of-practice with Contact Improvisation? CIRF's Fundamentals classes are for you.
CIRF Fundamentals classes serve those who are returning from a year or more away from regular/weekly CI practice, those who want to revisit "beginners' mind" for refresher, warm-up, and study of teaching skills, and dancers/movers with less than 2 years experience with Contact Improvisation classes and weekly practice (regardless of self-labeling as "beginner" or not).
All CIRF Intermediate and Advanced classes and intensives require students to have a firm grasp of CI Fundamentals and a current regular/weekly CI practice (ongoing for at least 2 years). Fundamentals will not be reviewed in Intermediate and Advanced classes. Participants unable to demonstrate the prerequisite skills in the first class exercise will be instructed to switch to the appropriate Intermediate or Fundamentals class. In the interests of injury prevention and quality learning, prerequisites will be enforced. For information on upcoming classes and jams in your region that can help you assess your experience level, please email: contact (at) ci-rf (dot) org.
Specific prerequisites for this year's published programs are listed below. For WCCIF programming, Single Class prerequisites are available in the full schedule (just click on the name of the class to view); these will also be posted at each studio door onsite.

maintaining rolling point, counterbalance, taking/giving weight
Advanced

jam partnering & etiquette, inversions, falling, taking/giving weight,
rides/lifts, adapts well with speed/distance/varied-sized partners.

This intensive is for dancers who already feel comfortable coming to a jam and initiating and ending contact dances. For the full description go to the NYI Event link.

- All Single Classes Pass (1pm-midnight July 2-6: includes 8 class sessions, 5 lunchtime events, plus 5 evening night jams & 2 shows--admittance to 20 events total.) All Single Classes Pass Holders are free to attend less than all 20 events, and attend whichever single days/classes they choose.
- Intensive Only (5 morning 11am sessions, includes 10am Warmups)
- Public Day July 5 (1pm-midnight.)
- 5-Night and Single-Night Jam Passes. (Jams are 7:30-11:30pm. Shows are 8pm.)
PLEASE NOTE:
The festival is an immersion-learning event, and therefore does NOT offer single day attendance other than Public Day, and does NOT offer single class attendance.
